How to Know the Mobile Numbers Registered Under Your Name or IQAMA?
When it comes to country security, Saudi Arabia government makes sure that they can easily track down bad elements in their society. All legal workers in Saudi Arabia owns IQAMA, Saudi National ID. And all government transactions are all tied up in workers IQAMA number. It also includes registration of Mobile numbers which was implemented by Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC) . CITC can easily trace the identity of any mobile phone users because it is connected to iqama and therefore it is safe for all mobile user to know the registered numbers. You don’t want to be connected to any illegal act just because your iqama has been used by some people who would like to profit out of it. So to make sure that your mobile number is the only number registered to your Iqama number use the method as shown below.
- Saudi Telecom Company – STC (Jawwal) – Â Sending SMS message containing the number (9988) to the number (902)
- Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) -Â Sending a blank SMS message to the number (616166)
- Saudi Mobile Telecommunications Co. (Zain) – Sending a blank SMS message to the number (700123)
Better check it as soon as possible, I have seen some comments in other forums that their Iqama has more than 10 numbers enrolled under their name. Proceed immediately to the nearest telecom office if you found out the same scenario.
