Online Shopping in Saudi Arabia, Compare and get the Best Price
I have been busy and good to have some spare time to browse and the net and write an update post on this blog. By the way, our partnership in Souq.com is doing great, and I hope more and more readers of this blog patronizes souq.com using our affiliate links in this website. (Upon buying at Souq.com through our links, you are helping our site to grow, so don’t forget to buy from Souq via this site.)
It’s been a long time since I have visited Jarir Bookstore Website, maybe because I am just too busy or I don’t have money to buy gadgets this time. Anyways, I just noticed that Jarir bookstore is now giving informations about their gadget prices as well as stocks availability in a certain showroom. (I just don’t know if it is updated).
The beauty of online information, is that you can easily see the different prices from the different stores. As an example in Saudi Arabia, you can buy gadgets from Panda, Extra, Jarir Bookstore, other big establishment and of course Batha and Mursalat area in Riyadh and of-course via online.
About 3 years ago, you have to visit each store and get the prices before deciding on where to go, and when the time you go back to the store with the lowest price, it is all gone. Now you can just type in the links of the website which sells your desired gadget and presto, you can have it delivered on your office or home address.
In Saudi Arabia, most of the consumers prefers to have it delivered in their office rather that in their home. It is because it is much easier to find the office location rather that the home location. In addition most of the time, people is at work.
Many expatriate and Saudi Arabia locals, patronizes online buying. You may see the number of people waiting at Package hub like Aramex or Post Office, while claiming their packages coming from United States, like from Amazon. By the way there are some items in Amazon cheaper compared to the items that can be bought from Souq.com, the only problem is that when they send you a wrong package, it would be hard to return it back. Unlike in Saudi online store, buyers has always the right to return items that they bought online if there are some damages or wrong specification.
So if you are still not using the internet in buying your stuff, you are losing some money. Take advantage of the competition, make your research before buying anything. You may also check my experience buying in souq.com
