Saudi Arabia Tough Penalties for Illegal and OverStaying Workers
Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, announced tough punishment to violators in their country as reported from MOI Website. According to ArabNews.com, punishment range from SAR 10,000 to SAR 100,000 which depends on the type of offense and the number of violations and individuals involved.
“Punishment will be increased depending on the number of violations and individuals involved, while violating expats will be deported and prevented from entering the Kingdom for a specific period,” the ministry said in a statement. “Those arrested for violations will not be released, even on bail.”
