Teriyaki Experience [Sulemania]
Last week we were late to cook for dinner, so we decided to go for a quick dinner in a restaurant instead of home cooked food, and while passing by Sulemania area we noticed that Teriyaki started their store operation (it was the same location as Papa John’s Pizza about 5 years ago). So we tried out the teriyaki meals on their menu. BTW Family are welcome in this restaurant, (the store seems small for family dining). They used partition to cover any family dining. I don’t know until when they will use this setup since I have not seen any other restaurant having the same set up here in Riyadh. Anyway let’s talk about the food preparation.
If you are a type of person who want to know how your food is being prepared, well this place is good for you. They prepare your food in a way it is visible to customers. Don’t worry about the smoke produced by the stove and the frying surface, the restaurant is properly ventilated that is why you can’t smell the food while they are cooking.
I could say that the amount of food is good for 2 individuals. It is a combination of Noodles rice and beef (Beef Teriyaki). Just for your information Teriyaki is a cooking technique used in Japanese cuisine in which foods are broiled or grilled with a glaze of soy sauce, mirin, and sugar.
The teriyaki meal taste good. I remembered Yummy Wok while eating in this restaurant probably because of the noodles they served.
This restaurant would been better if they really have a dedicated space for family. (I don’t know I am just used to eat in separate family area.)
Soft drinks is not bottomless. So be sure to estimate your drinks or else you need to buy more due to the quantity of food they serve.
Me and my family enjoyed the food, they tried chicken and shrimp. Price is not low compared to other fast food chain in Riyadh, it is almost the same as my expenses when I am dining at BBQ, but of course they have different taste.
Have you tried dining at Teriyaki?
Maps for info
Thanks for the post. Would be helpful if you could also include the street name or tag it on Google Maps or GPS coordinates, anything that can guide you to the place.
Thanks for the suggestion, I just updated the post with the maps 🙂
I think you had a great dining at Teriyaki. Me also will try to have dine with Teriyaki.
