All Time Great Cristiano Ronaldo Announced as the Newest Global Ambassador of Emirates
In just a few months, the 2014 FIFA World Cup will be held in Brazil. FIFA, Fédération Internationale de Football Association, will be held from 12th of June – 13th July. Emirates an official FIFA sponsor is actively increasing awareness of the said event. In addition they have delegated a second Global Ambassador who will help out Pelé, three times World Cup winner, and announced as the first Global Ambassador.
Last 28th March, 2014, Emirates delegated Cristiano Ronaldo, Portuguese captain and winner of the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2013, is its second Global Ambassador in their press conference in Madrid. In the same press conference, Emirates announced that Cristiano Ronaldo and Pelé, will be part of a digital campaign which will be shown in Youtube as well as in their flagship carrier, A380 via their on board lounge.
Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, known as Cristiano Ronaldo, plays also in the Emirates sponsored Real Madrid. He will lead is national team to South America to compete in his third tournament, his second as Captain. He has the record of being the youngest Portuguese player to be capped over 100 times.
