#WelcomeToArabia | KSA Opens it’s Doors
Upon waking up this morning, I saw a lots of information about the #WelcomeToArabia . Saudi Arabia is finally opening up the country for the 1st time to visitors. Informations can be seen at https://www.visitsaudi.com/en/ . The official site shows the country who can get the visa upon arrival in Saudi Arabia
Yesterday we blogged the countries who are eligible for the visa, and now we can see tha the list are confirmed from the website shown above. Visa can be applied through this link https://visa.visitsaudi.com/ with in 7 to 10 minutess
The most important part of the website is the law and Etiquette page where it mentioned the restrictions in saudi arabia as follows:From : VisitSaudi.com
For the Dress: Both men and women are asked to dress modestly in public, avoiding tight fitting clothing or clothes with profane language or images. Women should cover shoulders and knees in public. From : VisitSaudi.com
Public behaviour: Public displays of affection are not consistent with local culture and visitors should also avoid using profane language or gestures. From : VisitSaudi.com
Religion: At prayer time, five times a day, music is turned off in public places and many shops close briefly. For one month a year, during Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk and so it is respectful to avoid eating or drinking in public during the day at this time. From : VisitSaudi.com
Alcohol and substances: The sale, purchase and consumption of alcohol is illegal in Saudi Arabia. It is illegal to bring alcohol or drugs into country. From : VisitSaudi.com
The above mentioned laws and ettiquete are consistent with the information mentioned in the the news site Arabnews where it mentioned that Saudi arabia Public behavior guidelines has been issued, I am still looking for the public decency laws issued in Saudi Arabia. There are some things that it is still not clear for me. I believe more information will be available soon.
I am really excited with the changes in Saudi Arabia, From Cinemas, Women Driving, Tourism and More. Stay tuned for more information as I will be active again in this blog.
